I had an very nice stay at the Helendorf River Inn. easily the highlight of our trip to Helen. The location couldn't be better, with tubing, dining, and attractions all within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean, and the riverside area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. though I wish they had more luggage carts for busy check-out times.
My junior suite was huge and comfortable, perfect for entertaining. plenty of space to relax after a day of activities.
The staff was extremely friendly and responsive. they quickly resolved an issue I had, showing great attention to detail.
The hotel's location is unbeatable. just steps from the river and close to everything I wanted to explore.
I enjoyed the nearby coffee shop on Main Street. a good place to start the day with tasty offerings.
The amenities were satisfactory. although more luggage carts would certainly enhance the experience.

I had an amazing stay at Helendorf River Inn! The room was clean and cozy, and I loved the festive touch of a small Christmas tree. The balcony view of the Chattahoochee River was just perfect, too. It’s super close to shops and restaurants, but I didn’t hear much noise from the bustling streets, which was great. I can't wait to go back!
My room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony with a river view. Plus, I appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave.
Customer service was on point and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
The location is ideal—right downtown but tucked away enough to avoid noise.
While I didn’t dine in the hotel, there are tons of restaurants close by, which adds to the convenience.
Parking was super convenient, and I liked that there were laundry and computer services available.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Helendorf River Inn in Helen, GA. The location is perfect for enjoying the beautiful river views and exploring the charming town. However, I did encounter a few hiccups during my stay, particularly with check-in and some staff professionalism, but overall, the experience was satisfying.
The room was comfortable and well-maintained, making my stay enjoyable.
While I had a mixed experience with check-in, the evening staff were knowledgeable and offered great dining suggestions.
The location is ideal, right by the river, with easy access to shops and activities in Helen.
The breakfast provided was delicious, especially the variety of options available.
The inn offers a nice range of facilities, including a laundry area and access to shops, which I found very convenient.

My stay at Helendorf River Inn was wonderful, with recently updated rooms and a charming atmosphere. The grounds were surprisingly peaceful, and the staff's friendliness really stood out. However, I did face a few minor issues like a leaky coffee maker and a malfunctioning ironing board that detracted from the overall experience.
The rooms were updated but kept the old Helen charm, clean and inviting. I appreciated the beautiful views from my balcony.
The staff was amazing, friendly, and attentive, which made a big difference in my experience. They were very accommodating throughout my stay.
The location was excellent, right by the Chattahoochee River with easy access to the festival and other attractions around Helen.
I didn’t dine on-site, but the hotel's proximity to great local restaurants was a plus.
While the hotel had a few handy facilities, like laundry services, the pool wasn’t heated, and I noticed some outdated furniture.

I loved the location of the Helendorf River Inn, right in the heart of Helen and by the river, but the hotel definitely needs some updates. While the staff was friendly and the room had plenty of amenities, the furnishings felt dated, and cleanliness was lacking in some areas. Overall, the view and location made my stay enjoyable, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price we paid.
The room had a comfortable king bed and a nice balcony overlooking the river, but it was very outdated with old furniture and a musty smell. The Wi-Fi was slow, which was disappointing as I needed to check emails and browse the web.
The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring downtown, allowing me to park and walk everywhere. It’s right on the river, providing beautiful views and easy access to shops and restaurants.
Breakfast options were very limited, consisting of wrapped pastries and coffee, which didn't impress me. I ended up deciding to eat out instead.
The hotel had amenities like free parking, but the common areas were dusty and needed a thorough cleaning. The outdoor pool looked uninviting and dirty, making me hesitant to use it.
